About Dimblox (PTY) LTD

Dimablox (PTY) LTD was founded in 2011 with the exclusive purpose of developing mining projects. The company was founded and is led by three entrepreneurs with a passion for the Built Environment sector.

• Sifiso Kunene – Hydrologist and owner of an EPCM company
• Motshegwa “Hawk” Rakale – Mining Engineer and co-owner of the largest 100% black owned Exploration Drilling business in South Africa
• Obakeng “OJ” Setshogwe – Mining Engineer and co-owner of the largest 100% black owned Exploration Drilling business in South Africa

Dimablox has to date been involved directly and/or indirectly with over 25 mine prospecting rights application throughout South Africa as well as in Zimbabwe. In 2015 Dimablox undertook to explore the abundant variety of resource in Zimbabwe.

This exploration mission gave birth to Dima-Zim, a licensed mining entity in Zimbabwe licensed to mine predominantly chrome (Mundoro Ngezi) and Gold (Kwekwe). Between October 2016 and December 2017 Dima-Zim had mined in excess of 200 tons of chrome at its operation in Mundoro Ngezi located less than 5 kilometres from the Zimplats mine. In the same period the Dima-Zim operation in Kwekwe was producing an average of 500 grams of gold a week when operating. Unfortunately both these operations have now been suspended indefinitely due to the high costs of mining as well as the unavailability of credit facilities in Zimbabwe at the moment.

In South Africa, Dimablox is currently working on converting prospecting rights on various projects to mining rights or to mining permits until the rights can be issued by the Department of Mineral Resources. These include prospecting rights over certain farms in the Dipaleseng Municipality of the Balfour area in the Mpumalanga Province. Information currently available to us relating to the properties of interest, has indicated the possibility of coal mineralization, which is widely known to be associated with the South-Rand Coalfield in the Gauteng province.

The management at Dimablox is energetic, passionate and has an insatiable appetite for mining assets and eventually operating mines within the South African Landscape. The team has extensive experience in:
